Job Title: Junior Site Engineer Location: South East Ireland - Waterford, Wexford, South Kilkenny, South Tipperary Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Graduate / Junior Level Recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor We are currently recruiting a Junior Site Engineer for a well-established Tier 1 main contractor with active sites across the South East.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer to gain real, on-site experience and develop with a company known for training, progression, and long-term career opportunities.
The successful candidate will be based on a construction site within the region (project location will depend on your proximity and availability).
Responsibilities: Support senior site engineers and project managers in daily operations.
Monitor subcontractor's work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Participate in meetings, tool-box talks, and site inductions as required.
Assist in ensuring materials and plant are available and correctly managed.
Candidate Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enthusiastic and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
Site or internship experience an advantage but not essential.
Full clean driving licence preferred.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
