Full job description Role: The AA is embarking on an exciting growth and transformation phase and is seeking to recruit a Fleet Manager to support the Technical Services, Fleet & Supply Chain Team in providing best in class customer service to our clients. This role will form part of the dynamic Technical Services Fleet & Supply Chain Team and will report to the Head Technical Services, Fleet & Supply Chain. The successful candidate will be a highly driven, adaptable and confident people person who can thrive in a rapidly changing organisation and will adopt a hands-on approach to their role. We are seeking a high calibre and talented professional with a positive mindset and that is willing to learn. Work location: The role will be based in the ROC (Rescue Operations Centre) office however will be fully eligible for the AA hybrid working policy. Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following: Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency. Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance for all vehicles to enhance safety and reduce breakdowns and costs. Maintain up-to-date registration, insurance, and licensing. Address urgent or emergency repairs promptly to minimize business disruptions. The Candidate should have the following: Minimum qualifications, experience & skills Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years recent experience in Transport Supervisory/Transport Management.
