A rapidly growing organisation in the medical technology sector is expanding its engineering team. With ongoing investment in advanced manufacturing and new product development, this role offers the chance to influence major NPI projects and help shape next‑generation device technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and integrate new products into existing manufacturing processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.
Support long‑term engineering strategies and technology roadmaps.
Mentor junior engineers and promote a strong problem‑solving culture.
Collaborate with manufacturing, automation, and cross‑functional teams to optimise operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards; participate in audits.
Assist with capital expenditure planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Improve engineering systems, documentation, and processes to support operational excellence.
Contribute to cost‑reduction and process‑enhancement programmes.
Perform additional duties as needed to support wider engineering and organisational goals.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
3–5+ years' engineering experience, including direct NPI involvement.
Project management experience desirable.
Lean / Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
Strong experience working with cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments.
Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a record of delivering results.
