Job Function: Service
Job Family: Customer Services (Scandinavian speaking)
Job Overview:
Receive, verify order information for accuracy and completeness, enter orders into database and process orders for the organization.
Provide order confirmations to customers.
Respond to customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, or chat regarding prices, shipping dates, and/or any anticipated delays.
Contact appropriate parties to clarify orders and obtain additional information.
Answers product-related questions, traces lost shipments, interprets and clarifies customer orders for the shipping department, takes orders over the phone when necessary, and may manage web-based ordering, confers with management regarding customer credits, returns goods for credit, identifies quality assurance complaints, and writes price differentials on mail orders.
May approve allocation of stock in short supply, special price quotations and bids, pricing allowances, deductions and adjustments.
May manage inventories at customer facilities using EDI (electronic data interchange), forecasting, replenishment and inventory systems, focusing on stock and allocation issues to maximize service levels.
Responsibilities:
At the senior support level, this role performs the full scope of departmental tasks independently and reliably.
The individual takes initiative to engage with internal teams or external contacts to resolve questions, address issues, and support workflow continuity.
They apply broad job knowledge and skills across a wide range of assignments, with an understanding of how their work impacts interdependent departments, customers, or vendors.
This role independently resolves most issues, using sound judgment and recommending solutions for non-routine problems requiring approval.
It involves providing detailed, sometimes technical or sensitive, information and explanations within the team and across functions as needed.
Work is completed with limited supervision, allowing for a high degree of independent decision-making.
The individual may also support or mentor less-experienced colleagues, contributing to team development and performance.

Experience Required:
Scandinavian (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian) speaking.
Professionals at this level are experienced in their function, with the ability to manage a full range of departmental responsibilities independently.
They typically have 3–5 years of relevant experience and demonstrate sound decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
They understand cross-functional impact, exercise independent judgment, and may support or mentor less-experienced colleagues.
