We are currently partnering with a client in
County Roscommon
who is seeking a
Physiotherapist
to join their team in a nursing home setting.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and deliver individualised physiotherapy treatment programmes tailored to residents' needs.
Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, person-centred care.
Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans to optimise mobility, function, and independence.
Facilitate both one-to-one and group therapy sessions aimed at maintaining and enhancing physical wellbeing.
Support residents in goal-setting, providing motivation and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation of all assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
Ensure all physiotherapy interventions are delivered in line with best practice, while upholding residents' dignity, privacy, and individual preferences.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised therapy environment, ensuring all equipment adheres to infection control and safety standards.
Participate in audits, inspections, and governance processes as required.
Requirements
Degree qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent).
Registration with CORU is essential.
Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience, preferably in elderly care, healthcare, or a residential setting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate and motivated approach with a strong focus on resident-centred care.
Full Irish driver's licence is essential.
