The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of fitout projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage project workflows using AutoCAD software to ensure accurate specifications, dimensions, and finishes are captured.
* Coordinate with clients and/or design teams to obtain approval for production.
* Maintain productivity by collaborating with designers, purchasing managers, production managers, and fitters to meet project deadlines.
* Monitor project progress and report updates to senior management.
* Ensure specified items match client requirements by generating detailed bill of materials.
* Liaise with purchasing managers to guarantee timely material purchases.
* Identify potential delays and recommend alternatives to prevent project setbacks.
* Liaise with site fitters and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
* Assist in managing project handover and resolving snagging issues prior to completion.
Requirements:
* Diploma or degree in joinery, fitout, or construction-related industry.
* Proven experience in generating joinery shop drawings, material schedules, and cutting lists.
* Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is essential.
* Knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and production methods.
