Job Description
As part of our Technical or EICA division, you will be working on a number of engineering activities on a specific project or multiple projects dependent on capacity, size and complexity. Projects will include working on a variety of projects related to WasteWater Treatment Plants and Water Treatment Plants. The day to day roles will vary depending on the scope of the projects and you will be supported by a Design Manager.
Day to day role
* Collaborating with the Senior Design Engineers and Mechanical Design Engineers to support end to end design projects with the support of the wider Design team
* Liaising with clients from initial concept, feasibility, detailed design, implementation to final delivery
* Maintaining a high standard of work ensuring that you are compliant with all specifications and engineering practices
* Act as a point of contact to deal with any technical issues throughout projects
* Linking with a variety of Project Managers, Design Leads and Sub Consultants throughout each stage of the project
* Conduct detailed design calculations and equipment selections
* Working alongside our highly experienced drawing team to develop P&IDs and design drawings
* Involved in providing guidance on equipment selection and support in procurement activities
* Ensuring that all Project Documentation is managed according to the requirements of the Project Quality Plan and project specific requirements
Qualifications
* Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in the Water Industry (Desirable)
* Previous experience in industries such as Water, Pumping/Piping, Fluid Handling Systems, Oil/Gas (Desirable)
Skills expected
* Ability to work on own initiative and effectively manage & coordinate design
* Practical site experience (Desirable)
