We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Machining Operations Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for planning and performing work on conventional, NC, and CNC equipment.
You will set up and operate equipment to produce components that meet customer requirements. This includes machine programming, downloading, manual data input, debugging, and editing.
Additionally, you will plan and organize your own work to facilitate multi-machine manning, operate your own machine(s), and monitor additional machine(s) through breaks as needed.
You will also perform ancillary tasks such as checking, measuring, setting gauges, counting, deburring, stamping, etching, polishing, and pre-setting for the next jobs.
You will establish and report the correct quantity of pieces completed, identify quantity variances, and move to the next operation or facility within or occasionally outside the department.
The ideal candidate will have a certificate or diploma in an engineering discipline or sufficient experience to be considered competent for the role.
* Certificate / Diploma in an engineering discipline
* 7-10 years working in a machine-oriented manufacturing environment
* Experience on CNC machines
