Currently experiencing a growth in new business, they now require an Senior Accountant to manage & develop the finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a broad hands-on management accounting role. As the candidate will be joining at a stage when the company is relatively young and in development mode, the role represents an opportunity to add value and make a strong contribution to the continued growth of the business. Offers significant upward career progression. Duties will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies. Assist senior management with budgeting, systems development, and tax planning activities across the group Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reconciled accurately and on a timely basis. Manage inter-company Develop and document business processes and accounting policies Ongoing review and improvement of Internal Financial Controls Management and development of the finance team Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations Manage Year-end Audit and interaction with auditors Other ad hoc duties and projects as required Candidate Profile Ideal candidate will be an accountant making their 1st post qualified move from practice to industry. Role will suit a pro-active candidate with a can do attitude who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business.
