Overview
The Staff Nurse Ambulatory Gynaecology will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting. The staff nurse gynaecology will provide holistic, person centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users. They will be professionally accountable to the Director of Midwifery or designated officer and will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager / Clinical Midwife Manager / Director of Midwifery or designated officer.
Post Specific Requirements
* Candidates must have an active NMBI and be fully registered in the Nursing Division of the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).
* Have at least 1-year experience in an Acute Hospital setting
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience of working in an Acute Hospital setting.
