Job Title: Caregiver in Residential Care Settings
We are seeking a qualified Social Care Worker to provide care and support to residents with an intellectual disability, ABI or Autism.
* To act as a key worker for named Residents where appropriate.
* Provide support to residents with their daily plan, individual goals and education.
* Support residents with their living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments and family visits.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Social Care Worker, you will be part of the on-floor duty team and may also be responsible for coordination of the shift while on duty and for supervision of other staff under your direction.
The successful candidate will report to the person in charge and work collaboratively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team in service delivery to residents.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a qualification at Level 7 or above that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
* Knowledge of quality assurance practice and their application to service provision.
* Experience working in a residential, respite or day service setting with persons with an intellectual disability.
* Knowledge of Person-Centred Planning.
* Knowledge of clinical and human resource policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
* Full clean driving license.
* Valid permit to live and work full-time within the EU.
