Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in County Carlow, is seeking a motivated Buyer / Purchasing Assistant to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy purchasing function and contribute to the smooth running of production and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, components, and services * Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation * Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms * Monitor inventory levels and support stock control processes * Work closely with production and stores teams to ensure material availability * Maintain supplier records and assist with vendor evaluations * Support the Purchasing Manager with reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives ?

What We're Looking For: * Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role (ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment) * Strong organisational and communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems ?
