Job DescriptionJob Posting Title: Associate Investment Data Analyst - Security Reference Data Job DescriptionSummary: Associate Investment Data Management AnalystDepartment OverviewThe Global Data Services (GDS) team within Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) is a global, investment data management organization that specializes in the sourcing, analysis, integration, management and distribution of security, index, and portfolio data. GDS provides these data services for reference, evaluative, performance and analytical data in support of global investment decision making organizations. Data Management Operations (DMO), a division of GDS, specializes in managing, integrating and validating vendor and Fidelity-defined data associated with investment entities (securities, issues, brokers, funds, portfolios and index data).The Associate Investment Data Analyst will perform critical functions to support daily including oversight of daily workload distribution to ensure helpdesk and project assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner.The Expertise You HaveBachelor degree in Business/Finance or Related Field required1-2 years' experience working in a Mutual Fund Operations, Business Analysis, and/or Data Analyst role within a Financial Services CompanyTimely response for the set-up and maintenance requests from customersExperience in varied projects/initiatives from straight forward to complexRespond to research requests requiring assistance and problem resolutionAssist in the documentation, response, and management of client requests for new dataDefine and execute test plans and support user acceptance testingRecommend process enhancements for the efficient, accurate and timely completion of all activities including: data loading, quality checks, and reportingIdentify data issues, perform root cause analysis and resolve data quality issues.
