Our client, a life science company with offices in Dublin & London, are looking for a logistics associate to join their team in Dublin. Working closely with senior management, the primary responsibilities involve managing logistics operations and streamlining data handling & analysis to support sales and marketing functions. Full training in all aspects of the role will be given to the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities Product Handling & Repackaging:Carefully handle products and ensure that repackaging meets standards and industry protocols. Shipment Management: Act as the primary liaison with shipping partners, such as FedEx and DHL, to facilitate timely and efficient shipments. Manage inbound and outbound stock, ensuring shipments are accurate, organized, and timely. Document Creation & Quality Control:Develop and maintain product documentation, ensuring every document is accurate and undergoes stringent quality control checks. Inventory Management:Monitor, manage, and forecast inbound stock to ensure product availability and efficient warehouse operations. Warehouse Organization:Take charge of organizing warehouse stock and facilities to optimize space, product retrieval times, and ensure a safe working environment. Supplier Engagement:Work directly with shipping providers and other suppliers for optimal solutions, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and reliable service. Continuous Improvement:Regularly review and refine logistics processes for better efficiency and customer satisfaction. Technical Assistance:Offer technical guidance to internal teams and customers when needed, ensuring all queries related to product shipment and handling are addressed. Miscellaneous Duties:Undertake any other relevant duties as assigned by senior management to ensure smooth logistics operations. Competencies: Prior experience in retail, logistics, warehouse management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using data management tools and systems.
