Restaurant Manager at The Lobby Lounge & Whiskey Bar
. This is a unique opportunity to lead one of Dublin's most iconic spaces, encompassing the elegant Lobby Lounge, the refined Whiskey Bar, the intimate Reading Room, and all-day dining with our renowned Afternoon Tea service.

We are seeking a seasoned
Restaurant Manager
with a passion for luxury service and proven leadership experience. The successful candidate will oversee a strong management team, including two Assistant Managers, two Supervisors, and a team of Team Leaders, ensuring a full reporting structure that flows seamlessly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and ultimately the Director of Food & Beverage.

This role requires a leader who is not only operationally strong but also deeply standards-driven—capable of instilling a culture of precision, warmth, and excellence across the team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

* Deliver the Extraordinary
: Oversee daily operations of the Lobby Lounge, Whiskey Bar, and Reading Room with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring Afternoon Tea, private dining, and cocktail service are consistently executed to the highest standards.

* Leadership & Structure
: Manage a full team structure with 2 Assistant Managers, 2 Supervisors, and Team Leaders, ensuring clear communication, development, and accountability at every level.

* Guest Experience & Standards
: Ensure all brand and service standards are met and exceeded. Handle guest feedback with courtesy and professionalism, always striving to deliver beyond expectations.

* Operational Excellence
: Oversee scheduling, payroll management, inventory controls, and quality assurance processes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations without compromising luxury.

* Culinary & Beverage Collaboration
: Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu innovation, Afternoon Tea design, seasonal specials, and whiskey pairings that showcase the best of InterContinental dining.

* Marketing & Guest Engagement
: Partner with the hotel's marketing team to develop promotions and experiences that highlight the unique identity of the Whiskey Bar, the elegance of Afternoon Tea, and the intimacy of private dining.

* Reporting & Accountability
: Maintain regular reporting to the Assistant F&B Director and the Director of Food & Beverage, ensuring strategic alignment with the wider hotel objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior restaurant management role within a luxury hotel or fine-dining setting.
* Strong background in leading large teams with multiple management layers.
* A proven ability to set and enforce standards of excellence while motivating teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
* Confident in operational management, scheduling, and financial oversight.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
* A dynamic, approachable leader with a guest-focused mindset.
* Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and shift patterns aligned with business needs.
