We are seeking an experienced café supervisor to join our team a
Reporting directly to the Café Manager you will assist with the oversight a local team of approximately 10 individuals .

Responsibilities-Requirements and Skills
* Acting as the lead for the site when the site manager is not present
* Work experience as a Cafe supervisor within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a café or restaurant setting
* Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines and café food preparation.
* Must have a passion for great coffee and nutritious food
* Interest and knowledge about nutrition & food trends (calories, sugar contents, fat, proteins etc.)
* Interest in food provenance
* Must love meeting people and delivering excellent customer service
* Supporting the Café manager on the daily operations of the Zen Café, ensuring smooth and efficient service to visitors, patients and staff members
* Sustainability Management (waste stream management, compostable/recyclable/general waste)
* Preparation of displays/items for social media (previous experience an advantage)
* Assist the Café Manager will the rollout of new menu developments & upselling
Quality Management
* Collaborate with the Café Manager and staff to implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various tasks, including food preparation, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
* Train new café employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service expectations
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety
* Excellent knowledge of HACCP: Adhering to HACCP and Food Safety requirements and upkeeping administration records (HACCP trained-level 2)
* Working with Quality Manager and Café Manager to maintain HACCP system and SOPs
Skills/Requirements
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (fluent English required)
* At least 2 years team supervisor in a similar environment
* Strong IT skills
* Irish working visa essential
* Barista Expeirience preferential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
