Our model is built around:Hyperlocal and national digital advertisingCorporate sponsorship consultancyCommunity-first engagementRevenue sharing that reinvests into grassroots sportWe are now hiring a Head of Sales to build and lead our commercial engine. This is a foundational leadership hire.The RoleThis is a hands-on commercial leadership role. In the first 12 months, you will operate as:A high-performing closerA strategic advertising operatorA commercial architectThe revenue driver of the businessAs revenue scales, you will:Build and lead a sales teamFormalise commercial structureHelp shape pricing and product packagingSit as a key member of the leadership teamThis role is about building the revenue backbone of SocialTies.Core ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation (Primary Focus)You will own and drive:Digital Ad Inventory SalesSell digital advertising packages across SocialTies communitiesBuild recurring ad revenue streamsDrive volume as we scale into new communitiesNational Advertiser PartnershipsSecure brands operating across multiple communitiesDevelop scalable multi-county packagesPosition SocialTies as a national digital sports networkCorporate Sponsorship ConsultancyStructure and sell high-value sponsorship packages in conjunction with community directors and sponsorship teams. Work alongside county boards to build commercial strategySupport long-term multi-year agreementsStrategic Commercial DevelopmentYou will:Shape pricing modelsRecommend packaging strategiesIdentify new monetisation opportunitiesAdvise the CEO on commercial positioningThis is not a "just execute" role — strategic input is expected.Relationship ManagementThis role is highly relationship-driven.You will:Build trust with communities and commercial directorsRepresent SocialTies publiclyAttend corporate events as requiredMaintain strong advertiser relationshipsProtect brand integrity while driving revenueIdeal Candidate ProfileExperience5+ years in salesStrong advertising sales experienceMedia, agency, SaaS or sponsorship background welcomeSports industry knowledge a strong advantageExisting advertiser relationships a plusComfortable building from scratchWe are open to all sales professionals but most interested in:Media sales professionalsAgency commercial leadsAmbitious senior account managers ready to step upSkillsHigh closing abilityStructured pipeline managementConfident public communicatorCommercially strategicStrong relationship builderResilient and self-drivenCompensationThis role uses a Strategic Hybrid Model designed to reward sustainable revenue growth.€75,000 – €90,000 base salary5–10% commission on net new revenueEquity (0.5%–1%)Leadership progression opportunitySocialTies is early but proven.
