We are seeking a skilled Staff Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care services including administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting patient information.
Observe and record patients' signs, symptoms, and behaviors, including physiological status, and communicate this information to the healthcare team.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care for assigned patients based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Staff Nurse, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with knowledge of current medical terminology and technology.
A bachelor's degree in nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of practice is also mandatory.
