Improvement Catalyst
As an Improvement Catalyst, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement within our organization. This exciting opportunity is for someone with a passion for Lean principles and digital transformation.
1. Foster the implementation and maintenance of our daily management system (DMS) utilizing cutting-edge digital LEAN tools.
2. Cultivate the integration and flow of metrics cross-functionally throughout our site. Develop and sustain the technical aspect of our Digital Integration Tool and Lean Management System.
3. Leverage assessment results with associated feedback processes and governance mechanisms to coach key roles in our organization and implement best practices.
4. Attend all functional and flow team huddles to offer live coaching and provide feedback on identifying waste or process improvement items. Ensure seamless integration and alignment to KPIs for each huddle area.
5. Lead the establishment of our CCI & OE systems within assigned areas, including components and their interactions.
6. Facilitate the deployment of system standards.
7. Foster and execute the process of systems governance and assessment – health, maturity, and performance – as well as the continuous improvement of our systems.
8. Capture benefits of our CCI program and report to site and executive leadership teams.
9. Contribute to the CCI&OE program strategy within your assigned area of responsibility (site/function).
10. Collaborate with our central CCI&OE function to provide input into our CCI & OE systems design.
11. Lead and/or partner on various engagements within our site/function as well as at the network level within Manufacturing & Quality.
12. Serve as a CCI Coach partnering with Business Area Leads to facilitate the chosen methodology for the given project (e.g., Lean Lighthouse, Kaizen Event).
13. Provide support to ensure robust Organizational Change Management and Monitoring Plans are in place to sustain improvements.
14. Engage regularly with sponsors to provide status and escalate issues as necessary.
15. E nsure Lean principles and tools are integrated into both project execution and solution design.
16. Partner with site leadership/other functions, including site lead team and other governance forums, to identify and prioritize major productivity improvement opportunities.
Requirements
17. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science, IT, or a related field.
18. 3–5 years' experience leading improvement projects.
19. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, or similar level of Lean Coach/Practitioner Certification.
20. Knowledge of Lean/CI methodologies.
21. Strong communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.
22. Experience with digital transformation initiatives.
