Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
Job Description:
The primary objective of this role is to deliver a high-quality maintenance service to production and the site-wide facility.
As a key member of the Engineering department, you will lead a team of fitters/electricians in their day-to-day activities, overseeing problem-solving mechanical/electrical issues on the manufacturing plant.
* Accountable for maintenance downtime, root cause analysis, and problem-solving on the plant.
* Responsible for maintaining the parts system for new lines and the mechanical parts system for existing lines and services.
* Management of PO systems for the Maintenance department working in tandem with the Administrator.
* Involved in continuous improvement projects for the company.
* Manage suppliers and costs for the Maintenance Department.
* Plan and issue all preventive maintenance requests for the company and liaise with the Production Manager on the resourcing of personnel for ongoing preventive maintenance duties.
* Review weekly preventive maintenance to ensure compliance to company plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 5 years of experience operating in a regulated industry/environment qualified mechanical fitter/Mechanic.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Excellent PC skills.
* Demonstrated previous project management skills are essential.
