Narin & Portnoo Links is seeking a Chef de Partie to play a key role in its kitchen operations. This position involves preparing high-quality dishes and working closely with the culinary team to enhance the dining experience for members and guests at the Club.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to company standards and menu specifications.
* Execute food production tasks, including cleaning, cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking food items.
* Ensure proper food storage, following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
* Maintain portion control and monitor stock usage for daily service and functions.
* Adhere to HACCP regulations and all food safety and hygiene practices, including temperature monitoring and documentation.
* Conduct quality checks on received goods, ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines.
* Ensure recipes and presentation standards are consistently met.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
* Assist with training junior team members as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Key Requirements
* 2 years’ experience as a Chef De Partie
* Relevant Chef qualifications(e.g., culinary certification or equivalent experience).
* HACCP certificationand understanding of food safety standards.
* Excellent cooking skillswith strong attention to detail.
* Strong organizational and communication skillsto work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
