Energy Performance Development Specialist
This role involves enhancing and maintaining IT infrastructure, databases, and business systems for the energy performance development of buildings. You will work closely with a team to develop and integrate energy performance calculation methodologies into software platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development, databases, and business systems. They must be able to approach complex IT challenges with strategic thinking and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and enhance IT systems for the energy performance development of buildings.
* Lead the management of databases related to energy performance, including the incorporation of Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) and Zero Emission Buildings (ZEB) standards.
* Collaborate with the Software Development Team on the ongoing evolution of IT systems, focusing on improvements and system enhancements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, working with stakeholders to address any business systems-related problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in a relevant technical field.
* A minimum of four years' directly relevant experience in IT systems development, software engineering, building performance assessment, sustainability, energy consultancy, or project management.
* Experience with energy performance methodologies.
Desirable Requirements:
* PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
* Strong understanding of building energy systems.
