Location:donnelly fresh Produce, St Margaret's, Co Dublin –K67 D651BackgroundIf you have experience of operating in a fast moving, fresh produce, or manufacturing environment and you have a proven track record of achieving results, we can offer challenge and reward in equal measure.Company Backgrounddonnelly fresh is an Irish family-owned group of companies which is made up of donnelly fresh produce, donnelly fresh foods & donnelly fresh farms.We have a vacancy for a Maintenance Manager with Electrical and Mechanical experience to join the existing team.Job DescriptionThe position is to take ownership and responsibility and to be accountable for the day to day running of the Maintenance Department ensuring that the operation is fully supported across operating hours.It is a requirement to maintain and oversee the company's grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. Duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates. Together working with the Operations Manager, various projects will be budgeted, planned, coordinated & executed in areas such as Capex, sustainability & energy management, & continuous improvements.Key DutiesResponsible for implementing the company preventative maintenance programme through scheduled PM's based on risk assessment and performance reliability.Respond immediately to breakdowns during the shift, ensuring minimum downtime is experienced.Carry out detailed root cause analysis on breakdowns to implement corrective repairs and future preventative action.Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.Complete all necessary records in compliance with Health / Safety and Audit requirements.Budgeting (labour, training, spare parts, projects, 3rd party contractors).Plant & Machinery surveys to ensure a safe working environment.Lead and/or assist in projects, such as Capex, building improvements, continuous improvements and similar projects.Manage inventory of spare & critical parts.Build & maintain existing & new vendor relationships.Work in cross departmental projects.Competencies/ Desired ExperienceExperience of working with process controlling hardware including PLC's MMI's etc.Knowledge of pneumatics is desirable, also familiarity with sensing devices.Familiarity with motors, reduction gearboxes and fluid pumpsMechanical and electrical experience a distinct advantageGood computer skillsEnglish language – good standard both spoken and written.Proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.Key SkillsQualification in Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering is desirable.Good time management, planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise.Detail-oriented with a maintenance project delivery background.Experience of team management.Working HoursMonday to Friday7:00 am – 16:30 amExceptional circumstances may result in changes to the above hours/daysSalary€60-70k per annum, negotiableEmail Careers
