Job Title: Purchasing & Planning Manager
The role of a Purchasing and Planning Manager involves overseeing the production planning, raw materials ordering, and inventory management for a leading manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage production planning, raw materials planning/ordering, raw materials & finished goods warehouse as well as master data.
* Evaluate and ensure a balance between financial targets, production targets, and customer service/requirements.
* Order raw materials and guarantee proper supply to related production departments.
* Continuously monitor and control major KPIs (OTIF customer & supplier, schedule adherence, inventory DOH, lead time).
* Lead and develop the Planning and Supply Chain teams.
* Manage appropriate inventory levels on raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
* Implement an agile supply chain approach with flexible shift models and processes that guarantee higher flexibility.
* Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to ensure high-level customer service.
* Carry out capacity planning and modeling to identify pinch points.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or related field.
* Experience in sales and operational planning systems.
* Analytical and conceptual skills, knowledge of MS Nav and Oracle supply chain tools.
* Supply chain optimization along the product lifecycle.
* Strong competence in IT and good communication skills.
* Previous experience of people management and team building.
