About the Role
This role offers the chance to influence procurement strategy on a global scale, working across regions and business units. As a Global Category Manager, you will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for a major category with significant spend.
Key Responsibilities:
* Align global procurement strategies with regional needs and business objectives
* Drive performance on key metrics such as cost optimisation, supplier rationalisation, compliance, and working capital
* Manage supplier relationships and contracts with a focus on performance, risk, and data security
* Guide and mentor regional category teams, ensuring consistent execution and continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* 10+ years' experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management, ideally with a global or regional remit
* Demonstrated expertise in managing indirect procurement categories such as travel within a complex international business
* Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills across multiple functions and geographies
* Proven track record of driving cost savings, compliance, and process improvements
