About Our Engineering Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will play a leading role on one of our major construction projects, taking ownership of all engineering functions and acting as the point of contact for technical leadership, quality assurance, and site coordination.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. You will have exposure to high-profile projects with a pipeline of work for the next 10+ years.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
* Lead engineering strategy and on-site technical control
* Provide oversight for setting out, QA, record keeping, and engineering deliverables
* Coordinate and manage temporary works and lifting operations
* Mentor and guide site engineers and graduates
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and safety protocols
* Develop and review Inspection & Test Plans, method statements and risk assessments
* Identify and resolve technical queries and RFIs
* Drive timely close out of non-conformances and maintain robust documentation
What We Need from You:
* Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or equivalent)
* Temporary Works Coordinator training and scaffold awareness
* 2+ years experience in construction site engineering, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
