Overview
The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing and procuring services and materials, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. Time zone flexibility is required to partner with a diverse, dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Manage discovery and preparation of RFP/RFI/RFQ using the approved Procurement toolkit and processes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
Support the implementation of procurement strategies that optimize the cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
Manage procurement process for goods and services, including vendor selection, price negotiation, and contract management to achieve the best value.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
Monitor & manage supplier relationships and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Monitor market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Monitor spending trends, identify potential new sourcing initiatives and avenues for supplier consolidation or rationalisation, analyze options, and provide recommendations for inclusion in the business plan.
Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to support business goals.
Liaise with the Vendor Management team to ensure continuity of supply/service and risk management of strategic contracts, ensuring delivery matches contract objectives and deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or related discipline.
Minimum of five years of experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Experience handling contracts in IT, Professional Services, Travel, or Production (Media) is a plus.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Sound financial analytical skills and understanding of contract law.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proven ability to analyze data and make data‑driven decisions.
Awareness of regulation and legislation in the markets involved.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a team/hybrid environment.
Proven team player with impeccable attention to detail and ability to prioritize deliverables aligned with organisational strategy.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Completely literate in English, with advanced level in one European language is a plus.
