1.0 WTE - Fixed Term (6 Months) - Maternity Leave Cover
Based across:
Churchtown Primary Care Centre
St Vincent's University Hospital inpatient mental health unit
This role forms part of the Adult Mental Health Service, supporting individuals experiencing a range of mental health difficulties within both community and acute inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and interventions.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary mental health teams.
Support service users and families through advocacy, care planning and discharge planning.
Participate in safeguarding, risk assessment and crisis intervention where required.
Liaise with statutory, voluntary and community agencies to ensure integrated care pathways.
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional and organisational standards.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
Hold a recognised qualification in Social Work.
Be registered with CORU or eligible for registration.
Have a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience desirable, preferably within mental health services.
Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Be committed to recovery-oriented and person-centred practice.
