Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major Open Banking programme. This role will work closely with the Programme Manager and will be responsible for managing one or more project workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of assigned projects/workstreams within the wider programme
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and RAID logs
* Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and technical specialists
* Support integration activities between third-party systems and internal banking platforms
* Track project progress and report status, risks, and issues to the Programme Manager
* Ensure adherence to governance, quality, and regulatory standards
* Manage dependencies and escalations across teams
* Support testing, deployment, and implementation activities
Required Experience & Skills
* 7-10+ years of project management experience
* Background in banking or financial services
* Strong experience delivering IT and system integration projects
* Experience working with third-party vendors
* Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and digital platforms
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Desirable
* Experience supporting Open Banking or API-led initiatives
* Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
* Project management certification (Prince2, PMP, Agile PM, etc.)
