Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our API New Product Introduction Team. This role offers exciting challenges, working on multiple projects from manufacturing support to late-stage clinical product development, scale-up, new product introductions, and technology transfers. The role supports both internal and external manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting new product introductions and technical transfers, including new technologies.
2. Optimizing processes and equipment to improve quality, yields, and throughput, and implementing improvements.
3. Problem-solving within a cross-functional team environment.
4. Executing process development for existing and new late-stage clinical products, including scale-up.
5. Identifying and leading continuous improvement activities, supporting cost reduction and operational excellence.
6. Providing technical support on the production floor for process and equipment optimization.
7. Ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance, investigating deviations, and implementing corrective actions.
8. Participating in process and safety risk assessments, including HazOp.
9. Supporting process and equipment validation for commercial products.
10. Monitoring processes during production.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Honours degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field.
2. High integrity, credibility, and energy; ability to work inclusively in diverse teams.
3. Experience in API or Drug Product is desirable, along with problem-solving skills in a technical environment.
4. Self-driven with a focus on results and continuous improvement initiatives.
