Audit Director
Hayward Hawk are delighted to be recruiting for an Audit Director to join our clients expanding Audit team. This is a senior leadership position where you will oversee large-scale audit engagements, manage client relationships, and play an active role in growth. This is a full time permanent role located in Dublin.
What You'll Do
* Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit assignments, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality audit services.
* Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to continuously improve audit processes and methodologies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business operations and challenges.
* Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and assisting with client proposals and presentations.
* Ensure all audit work complies with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Review and provide technical guidance on complex audit matters.
* Oversee and support audit teams, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
What You'll Need
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* 6 years’ + experience in an audit environment.
* Proven track record of managing multiple engagements and client portfolios.
* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to exercise sound professional judgment.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising and mentoring teams.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Commercially focused with the ability to identify and support new business opportunities.
