Overview: We are currently seeking an administration assistant to join our team at the Procurement/Stores Dept at Breedon Cement, Kinnegad.
As an administration assistant you will provide efficient administrative assistance, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of procurement and maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities Support the Maintenance team with processing timesheets and raising requisitions, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
Generate purchase requisitions as needed, addressing any discrepancies or exceptions by escalating them to the Procurement or Maintenance Manager.
Maintain a well-organized administrative system for managing and retrieving procurement-related documentation.
Set up new suppliers and manage the onboarding process, including issuing welcome and compliance documentation.
Prepare and maintain reports, logs, and spreadsheets as required.
Monitor purchase orders for system errors and collaborate with the Payments Team to resolve any issues.
Provide general administrative support to the wider team.
Ensure compliance with all Health willing to attend training as needed.
Demonstrates a positive, enthusiastic attitude and sets high standards for self and colleagues.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of technical processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
