Overview
Permanent full-time post: Personal Assistant to the Head of College within the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences Office, University College Cork.
This exciting role provides comprehensive and professional administrative support to the Head of College. The postholder will have exceptional networking and relationship management skills to ensure the smooth running of the Head of College’s office. They will liaise with colleagues at all levels within the College and UCC and with senior managers across the higher education sector, government departments, funding bodies, and local, national and international representatives.
Responsibilities
* Manage the Head of College’s diary and coordinate scheduling for internal and external engagements.
* Access and manage dissemination of highly confidential documentation.
* Coordinate the drafting, preparation and organisation of information and reports for internal and external meetings to ensure the Head of College has all necessary information when required.
* Work closely with the College Manager and other members of the College Office Team.
Note: Garda vetting and/or an international police clearance check may form part of the selection process.

Appointment may be made on the Admin V Salary Scale: €51,307 - €62,926 (Scale B) / €49,070 - €59,893 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
