Opportunity for an Assistant Resident Engineer based in Wicklow/Kildare and the surrounding areas, reviewing, advising and supervising upgrades to the water network. Due to ongoing contract awards, our Global Clients have a requirement for Assistant Resident Engineers to join their team and supervise Water projects throughout Ireland. Successful candidates will be placed on work close to home where possible; however travel will be required.
To be considered as an Assistant Resident Engineer, you should be able to demonstrate previous experience in either the Design, Construction or Supervision of similar utilities, water network upgrades, surveys / investigations, environmental works etc.
As Assistant Resident Engineer, your experience should include:
1. At least 3-5 years' postgraduate experience, with industry experience of on-site supervision, construction, surveying or project management on Utilities / Water / Wastewater / Environmental engineering projects.
2. A qualification in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering.
3. Knowledge of watermain repair and replacement works would be desirable.
4. Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records.
5. Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
6. A current and valid SafePass card is essential, Confined Spaces training etc. can be provided.
You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to act within a team at all times.
