Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Development Manager to lead the development of renewable energy projects across Ireland, with a focus on solar and wind energy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling projects, including site visits and interactions with government bodies such as An Bord Pleanála for planning permission.
Key responsibilities include:
* Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
* Planning Applications: Prepare and submit planning applications to relevant authorities.
* Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential issues.
* Planning Law: Stay up-to-date with planning laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
* EIA: Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for proposed projects.
* Programme Management: Manage project programmes using tools such as P6 and MS Project.
* Project Support: Provide project management and development support to cross-functional teams.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects.
* Tendering and Business Networking: Support business development through tendering and business networking activities.
* SHEQ Management: Liaise with the SHEQ Manager on all project-related safety, health, environment, and quality matters.
* Workload and Resource Management: Schedule workload, equipment, and resources effectively.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Degree Qualification: A degree qualification in a specialism such as Project Planning, Town Planning, or Scheduling.
* Industry Experience: Previous experience with solar and wind energy planning processes in Ireland.
* Flexibility: A willingness to work flexibly when required and travel as needed.
