We are excited to announce this amazing opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our One Star Michelin restaurant.
Our fine dining restaurant holds a Michelin star, led by chef Richard Picard Edwards.
Exceptional customer service is essential at Ballyfin. We seek a hardworking individual with previous experience in a Michelin-star restaurant, a passion for food & beverage, and a strong teamwork spirit.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, 5 days over 7, Monday to Sunday. Shift runs approximately 3 pm to closing.
Duties (but not limited to)
As a chef de rang, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional service and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.
Welcome guests to the restaurant and show them to their table.
As a host and service professional, you will explain the menu, order of service and answer any questions that the guest may have.
Responsible for taking orders of food and beverage ensuring no errors are made and all dietary requirements have been confirmed.
Liaising with the kitchen team and chefs as required.
Team work is essential - assist and train colleagues as and when required.
Communicate the details of each dish to the guest and answer any questions.
Serve and clear plates and crockery as required.
Working with the F&B team and Kitchen to ensure clear communication to enhance the guest experience.
Develop a strong knowledge on all that Ballyfin has to offer including history, food, beverage, activities etc.
Qualifications – The Ideal Candidate
At least one year previous experience working in a fine‑dining or Michelin star restaurant.
Mature and charismatic individual.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Excellent communicator and team player.
Exert a friendly and approachable manner.
Have a genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
