About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant with a strong focus on Purchase Ledger to join a highly regarded commercial legal firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in finance while contributing to the smooth running of supplier payments and ledger management.
Key Responsibilities
* Inputting purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
* Liaising with budget holders to obtain timely payment approvals
* Reconciling supplier ledger accounts against statements
* Maintaining accurate records of legal searches and completing reconciliations where required
* Preparing supplier payments in line with company policies and deadlines
About You
* Previous experience in a finance/ purchase ledger role.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in MS Excel and finance systems
