Lead Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing
We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team supporting both new and existing equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. The role involves ownership of all electrical aspects, including machinery design, power distribution, controls, and commissioning. The ideal candidate is technically confident, able to make independent decisions, and motivated to drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and review electrical design, testing, installation, and commissioning in a highly automated production environment.
Provide technical guidance on electrical architecture and hardware selection within project teams.
Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and automation equipment.
Maintain electrical documentation to industry standards.
Review vendor equipment for technical compliance.
Conduct commissioning assessments and approvals for electrical installations.
Support continuous improvement of electrical processes and standards.
Mentor other engineers to maintain high engineering standards.
Experience & Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of local and international electrical standards.
Experience with LV distribution, MCC systems, and 24V control/automation design.
Proficient with AutoCAD, EPLAN, Vault, and cable sizing tools.
Previous experience in automated production machinery and large‑scale manufacturing environments.
Proven senior or lead electrical engineering experience.
Excellent time management and prioritization.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Comfortable in high‑paced environments with autonomous decision‑making.
Self‑driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
