Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Dubai‑based team.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or nearly qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and management accounting.
You will take ownership of a client portfolio, prepare and review monthly management accounts, oversee corporate tax and VAT compliance, and mentor junior staff while contributing to process improvement and automation across the department.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and financial analysis.
* Produce and interpret IFRS‑compliant financial statements for client companies.
* Oversee VAT and Corporate Tax registrations, filings, and compliance with UAE regulations.
* Conduct analytical reviews and provide strategic insights to clients on financial performance.
* Supervise and support junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Liaise directly with clients and external auditors, maintaining strong professional relationships.
* Ensure all accounting processes align with Arena Accounting’s digital workflows in Zoho and Monday.com.
* Participate in continuous process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 3–6 years of professional accounting experience (practice or industry).
* Fully or part‑qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or equivalent).
* Proven experience with IFRS, management accounting, and financial reporting.
* Strong understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax frameworks (UAE experience preferred, but not essential).
* Proficiency in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Xero; confident using workflow tools like Monday.com.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Leadership mindset with the ability to manage junior team members.
* Willingness to relocate to Dubai (relocation package and visa sponsorship provided).
