Senior Construction Project Manager Job Description:
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to work with our clients on contracts nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and experience working with clients and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and coordinate project design briefs and design development plans.
* Manage levies and development contributions.
* Maintain compliance statements, commencement notices, and Assigned and Ancillary certifier appointments.
* Oversee construction phase delivery of projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
* Manage Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and coordinate PSDP and PSCS roles and responsibilities.
* Create detailed project execution plans and programming schedules.
* Record progress and manage design changes.
* Promote efficient procurement of contractors, materials, labour, plant, and preliminaries.
* Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with building regulations.
* Coordinate utility provider appointments and designs.
* Manage BCAR documentation and certifications.
* Complete site Taking in Charge procedure and hand over to Local Authorities.
Requirements
* 7+ years' experience in construction project management.
* Degree qualified in Project Management or Civil Engineering.
* Project management and delivery experience within a safety-critical environment.
* Full Clean Driving License.
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage Contractors.
