What Is The Role
Real Estate Finance (REF) is a specialist customer-facing department in AIB Capital Markets. We are a team of 70 people with a mix of disciplines including Valuation Surveyors, Data Experts, Economists, and Chartered Engineers who help us make better decisions.
We work collaboratively to play a vital role in addressing the housing situation by funding the development of A-rated homes in RoI. We work closely with the largest developers in the country, encouraging them to improve the sustainability credentials of those homes.
We fund institutional and large private investors for the purchase of commercial real estate assets across Ireland and Europe through large international syndicates. We work with these borrowers to develop transition plans to improve building quality.
