General Operative – Landscaping
Pay: €14.50–€16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: Based in Rathdrum, with travel to sites across Ireland

What the Role Involves
As a General Operative, you will play an important role in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role is ideal for those who enjoy practical outdoor work and want to build a career in landscaping.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Working as part of a landscaping team on commercial and public projects
* Preparing, planting, and maintaining soft landscaping areas (lawns, flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees)
* Operating tools and equipment safely under supervision
* Carrying out grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and weed control
* Following instructions from site supervisors and ensuring work is completed to specification
* Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment to and from sites
* Ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times
Requirements
* No formal qualifications required – full training will be provided
* Good level of physical fitness and practical ability
* Strong work ethic with a positive and reliable attitude
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Full valid driver's licence (essential)
* Preferred but not essential:
* Safe Pass certification
* Manual Handling certification
* CSCS Card
Pay and Benefits
* Competitive hourly rate: €14.50–€16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
