Program Manager Job Description
As a Program Manager, you will lead complex commercial and technology projects in a large-scale retail environment.
* Develop and execute project plans, forecasts, manage deliverables and scope, resolve cross-functional issues and change control.
* Coordinate the resource team and work with business stakeholders to identify additional innovative opportunities.
* Understand and deliver on customer needs, collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are documented and agreed.
* Work with 3rd party vendors to deliver technical solutions, including RFPs, solution architecture, build, test and implementation.
You will be responsible for managing project progress and performance, budget tracking, governance and reporting at a project level. Additionally, you will contribute to program-level initiatives such as cross-workstream dependency management, governance, quality assurance, delivery frameworks and communities of practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in Commerce, IT or a related field and a PMP or Prince2 certification are required.
10+ years delivering complex commercial and technology projects in a large-scale environment around Retail / consumer goods / Supply chain & distribution is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead all retail projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
2. Ensure the transformation vision is converted to tangible work packages that deliver value to the organisation.
3. Work with the leadership team to identify opportunities and build out a pipeline of initiatives to deliver within the retail transformation.
