The role
The Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for supporting the design, development, and delivery of Salesforce solutions that meet business objectives. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions while providing guidance to development teams, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
* Assist in designing secure, robust, and scalable Salesforce solutions while collaborating with both client and internal stakeholders.
* Participate in design workshops to understand business processes and recommend suitable Salesforce solutions.
* Work with project managers to break down Salesforce solutions into user stories, estimate requirements, and map dependencies.
* Ensure technical quality and adherence to Salesforce solution design principles.
* Collaborate with the delivery team and project manager to implement agreed Salesforce solutions and infrastructure.
* Allocate project tasks, ensuring tickets include sufficient technical detail for developers.
* Provide relevant information to support project documentation such as project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
* Monitor development tasks and assist with delivery.
* Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
* Support CI/CD pipeline management.
* Participate in testing of Salesforce solutions, assist with test scripts, and triage platform bugs.
* Manage technical aspects of change to support project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
* Document best practices and operational procedures.
* Collaborate with clients and project teams on Salesforce solutions across various industries.
* Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture.
Desired Skills
* Minimum of 2 + years of experience in an Associate Technical Lead or equivalent role in Salesforce implementations.
* Additional 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Solid understanding of Salesforce Cloud solutions (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) and project delivery methodologies.
* Experience contributing to Salesforce project teams using various project management methodologies.
* Proficiency in designing custom functionality using LWC, Aura components, triggers, flows, and data migrations.
* Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, web services, Salesforce Connect, and middleware solutions.
* Knowledge of Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality and best practices.
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and deployment processes.
* Leadership experience with mentoring or guiding team members.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Multiple Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I, II, or equivalent).
