Overview
We are currently hiring a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team in Little Island on a permanent basis.
The supply chain team is the lynchpin of operations, ensuring the careful coordination of concentrate ingredients and recipes. The team works with our global plants, bottlers, and Distribution Centres to ensure flawless supply execution for PepsiCo. Responsibilities
Obsolescence Reviews:
* Lead monthly obsolescence (reserves) review for all divisions supplied from Cork (PI, PCNA, QTG, FFP, Gamesa, and Doehler).
* Compile monthly reports, analyze risk, and identify mitigating actions.
* Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure mitigating actions are completed and risks are avoided.
* Lead cross-functional monthly meetings with senior stakeholders on risk movements and align with Global controls and Finance on correct monthly booking.
* Monitor and track reserves against the budget issued at the start of the year.
* Maintain control documentation correctly (SOX control) and meet with external auditors as required.
* Complete obsolescence reviews on all reformulations and discontinuations.
* Ensure a clear process is in place for cross-charging utilizing the new Power BI tools.
* Track and trace cross-charge risks to prevent duplications and ensure mitigations are captured.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen the process.
* Utilize analytical skills for root cause analysis.
* Develop Power BI reports for monthly reserves connect.
* Work closely with Support Centre and manager on reserves-based initiatives.
Disposals Process
* Coordinate and improve inventory disposals process.
* Run comprehensive disposals reports, compiling data from multiple sources to generate a supply chain waste disposal file.
* Coordinate between departments and external warehouses to ensure accuracy.
* Manage waste contractor relationships to ensure timely disposal.
* Drive process improvements based on stakeholder feedback, focusing on aged inventory removal.
* Manage ad hoc disposal requests, reviewing for areas of improvement.
* Communicate issues or delays to management.
* Issue monthly communications to stakeholders and develop a disposals dashboard (Power BI).
* Monitor and track waste disposal budgets.
Aged Disposal Control
* Run and review monthly aged disposal reports.
* Review disposals leveraging inputs from other teams such as quality.
* Identify new items for disposal listings.
General
* Support the Inventory Manager.
* Participate in core reserves projects.
* Assist in developing reserves reduction strategies.
* Ensure compliance with GCS, SOX, and AIBI standards.
Control and Compliance
* Maintain GCS documentation and ensure compliance.
* Complete SOX and GCS audits successfully.
Qualifications
* Experience with SAP, MS Excel, Macros, Power BI, Analysis for Office.
* Strong supply chain experience in a multinational (desirable).
* Excellent MRP and analytical skills, with problem-solving ability.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
* Manage multiple complex tasks with attention to detail.
* Results-oriented with a commitment to objectives.
* Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
* Customer focus and awareness.
* Third-level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline.
* Numerical skills are an advantage.
