Mechanical Estimator Position
We seek a Mechanical Estimator to collaborate with our office team.
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, to ensure timely submission and agreement of applications, cost plans, variation details, claims and other documentation.
* Liaise with clients and consultants from initial enquiries through to final accounts on the production and agreement of account details and securing final payment without undue penalty.
* Negotiate and purchase Sub-Contractors and suppliers.
* Closely monitor and process project variations.
* Issue tender queries and prepare tender reports.
* Report financial progression of projects to management.
The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience working with mechanical contractors, familiarity with mechanical material & system types, supply chain, and sub-contractor network, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
