Job Description:
The Staff Project Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will deliver high-value equipment engineering projects to key European sites, including Clare, Ireland, and Krefeld, Germany.
This role involves working closely with Operations, Engineering teams, and external vendors to manage the full equipment life cycle, provide technical guidance, and enable continuous improvement of production and output.
You'll develop and use visual project management and daily management boards to drive standard work and identify opportunities for improvements. As an influential team member, you'll communicate effectively and clearly on equipment and process issues, focusing on root cause, status updates, and countermeasures.
Requirements:
* Degree (Level 8) in Engineering or related discipline with 9+ years relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 7+ years relevant experience, OR Doctoral degree with 4+ years relevant experience
* Strong equipment engineering experience
* Previous experience in: Working in an engineering role with a focus on projects, Lean/Continuous Improvement, Exercising judgment when interpreting company policies and procedures, Working with cross-functional teams in different cultural settings
