The role
My client, a multinational organisation is on the lookout for a Supply Chain Planner / BA on a permanent basis in Dublin
The Job
Support daily supply chain operations, coordinating with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient product availability and service delivery.
Manage inventory planning, replenishment, and purchasing activities to achieve service level targets and operational KPIs.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.
Build and maintain effective supplier relationships while supporting internal and external reporting requirements.
Contribute to the development, documentation, and implementation of supply chain strategies, processes, and operating models.
Analyse business processes, identify opportunities for optimisation and automation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, collaborate with technical teams on system enhancements, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Act as a subject matter expert across end-to-end supply chain functions, including planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and returns management.
Have You?
A degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or 5+ years' experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics, or related functions.
Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.
Experience using data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
Excellent organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and integrated planning systems.
Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into practical solutions.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
