The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy services to adults within a community-based setting, working as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team.
This role offers the chance to develop advanced clinical skills, contribute to service development, and support junior staff within a supportive HSE environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Physiotherapist: Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and intervention for adults in a Primary Care setting Manage a varied caseload in line with HSE policies, clinical guidelines, and best practice Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Primary Care team Provide clinical supervision, support, and mentoring to staff grade physiotherapists and students as required Contribute to service planning, audit, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in governance processes Essential Criteria for the Senior Physiotherapist: CORU registration as a Physiotherapist Minimum of three years post-qualification clinical experience Experience working with adults in a community, primary care, or relevant clinical setting Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills Full clean driving licence and access to own transport (desirable, depending on service needs) Desirable Criteria Experience in Primary Care or community-based services Experience supervising staff or students Postgraduate training relevant to community or primary care physiotherapy Whats on Offer Senior-grade HSE salary in line with public sector pay scales Opportunity to work within a well-established Primary Care service Ongoing professional development and CPD support Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Excellent worklife balance in a community-based role Contact Us: If you or someone you know is interested in this position, please send a copy of your CV to If you refer a candidate to us who is successfully hired, we can offer you a €150 thank you bonus T&Cs apply #MEDAHP
