Acute Oncology Professional
We are seeking a skilled Acute Oncology Professional to join our team.

* Deliver rapid assessment and management of patients with cancer-related emergencies.
* Manage oncological emergencies within 24 hours, including:
*
o Neutropenic sepsis
o Spinal cord compression
o Hypercalcemia
o Tumour lysis syndrome
* Coordinate care between oncology teams and healthcare professionals across various settings.
* Provide psychological support to patients and families, including counselling as required.
* Educate and train healthcare staff on acute oncological emergencies using the UKONS training programme.
* Develop expertise in ANP/CNS competency, signed off by a clinical lead or designated medical oncology consultant.
* Reduce unplanned hospital admissions through proactive management and adherence to established pathways.
* Monitor performance metrics using the Beacon UKONS dashboard.
* Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
